A Place for You
For most of you, Christmas means seeing family. You will either be on the road to see family or family will be coming to see you. When we travel to Oklahoma, our parents always prepare a room, several actually, for my family to stay in. They put clean sheets on the beds, make sure the bathroom is clean, towels are available for everyone, and there is at least some room in the closet to put a few clothes. The coming of family means preparing room. When Jesus came into the world, there was no room for him. This is what we remember about Joseph and Mary coming to Bethlehem and finding no room in the Inn. They had to stay in the barn. That’s a sad story.
The good news is that when it’s time for God’s family to go to Him, he has prepared a place.
