WCP Special Event—Prayer Service Set for August 11

As we prepare to start another school and ministry year, the women of Cornerstone will come together on Friday, August 11, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the church sanctuary to pray for our church, our families, our members, and our missions. This special event will be our Women’s Central Perk for August, and we hope that all the women of Cornerstone will be part of it—even if you do not usually attend WCP.

This will be a time of both group and private prayer as we lift up all the things on our hearts—growth for our church, protection for our members and children, and spiritual growth for all of us.

Please plan to join your sisters in Christ for this special evening as we rely on God’s promise, “Call to me and I will answer you,….”

Women’s Prayer Event August 18

“I have so much to do that if I didn’t spend at least three hours a day in prayer I would never get it all done.” – Martin Luther.

Isn’t the first part of that quote so applicable to our hearts at the moment?  Troubled with all the things that must get done, or begun, in the next month or two? Come join together as we bear one another’s burdens by praying to the God who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20) for the upcoming women’s ministry events, our church and it’s leaders, our families, the coming school year, and many other things.  If you have specific prayer requests for this time, please contact Alisa Cotton.   We will meet in the Cornerstone sanctuary on Thursday evening, August 18, at 7:00 for this special time of prayer.

Prayer Meetings April 24 & 27

Missions Prayer Service:  Please plan on attending Cornerstone’s Missions Prayer Service to be held Sunday, April 24 at 6:15PM. This is an opportunity for our brothers and sisters in Christ to join in prayer for the missionaries we currently support. We will begin with worshiping through music by singing hymns, and then present a few short videos on Syrian Refugees, and our missionaries Rebecca and Nour Botros who are living and ministering in Lebanon. We will then spend time lifting up each of our local missions, state side missions, and world missions. What a joyful experience as a spiritual family to raise our praises and thanks and petitions to our Lord on behalf of those who are following their call in service. It’s a privilege and honor. We will end with a dessert fellowship.

Finances Prayer Meeting:  April 27, 7:00pm Your prayers are treasured and needed.  Please join us as we pray for a couple of issues facing our church: our membership and our finances.  This will be a guided prayer service in which everybody can participate.
