Heart-to-Heart Ministry Begins Soon

Heart-to-Heart, Cornerstones’ Mentoring Ministry for women, will begin its tenth season in October. Our Orientation Coffee will be held at Lauren Torregano’s home  on Sunday afternoon, October 16, beginning at 3:00 p.m. The Kick-Off evening will be the following Friday, October 21.

This ministry pairs women for a 6-month period to meet together for prayer, study, encouragement, or just getting to know each other better. Each mentoring pair decides when and where they will meet, and how they will use their time together.

Heart-to-Heart has been a great way for ladies who are new to Cornerstone to form a lasting friendship with someone who has been around longer. We welcome both members and those who are visiting regularly to participate, married or single.
At the Orientation Coffee, we will tell you more about the ministry and give you a chance to sign up if you are interested. No pressure!

The Kick-Off on Friday is our “big reveal”, when everyone learns with whom they have been paired. The Mentors will come at 6:00 p.m. for a light supper, and Mentees and Prayer Warriors arrive at 7:30 for dessert. Childcare is provided for this evening if needed.

A unique feature of H2H is our Prayer Warriors. Each mentoring pair has a woman who will be praying for them throughout the six months and on whom they may call.

If you are interested in participating but can’t be there for the coffee, please see Linda Cover or Evelyn Saugier to fill out a profile card in advance.
