The Deacons are currently working on getting the Cornerstone property certified as a Red Cross Shelter.  What does this mean?  In the event of something as a house fire, or extensive as a hurricane, our facility can be used as a temporary shelter to displaced families.  The Red Cross will assist in managing this type of emergency, but we are looking for volunteers to help in the event the need ever arises.  This is a great way to reach out to our community in time of need, personify the term sanctuary, and show the love and mercy of Christ to our neighbors.
