- Kingdom Action: Because we just celebrated Jesus’ birthday, CSCK families will assemble birthday bags for the children of Katy Christian Ministry clients. We are accepting donations from the entire congregation. Suggested donations include: small toys for various ages (not wrapped), party favors, party hats, party decorations (themed, girl, boy, unisex, etc), birthday ribbons and pins, bubbles, disposable cameras, coloring books & crayons, just to name a few.
- Congregational Meeting: Following worship service next week there will be a brief congregational meeting for the purpose of voting on officers for the Session and Deacons.
- Monthly Community Lunch: Please stick around after worship to enjoy fellowship & lunch with your brothers & sisters in Christ. If your last name begins with A-L please bring a side dish or vegetable, M-S please bring a dessert, & T-Z please bring a main dish. Please bring enough to feed 2 families or more. If you don’t want to bring anything (or forget) please feel free to eat anyway & consider helping in the clean up as your contribution.
- Sunrise Visit: Join us after lunch for the monthly visit to Sunrise Assisted Living Center at 2:00 p.m.
coming up
let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.Galatians 6:9–10
