The first of the Youth 2nd Saturday this school year is scheduled for this Saturday, September 14 from 6:30 – 9:00pm. This year’s theme is “Identity”. Below you will find a tentative schedule of topics for the year:
- September 14: Body Image
- October 12: Social standing (school popularity)
- November 9: Political
- December 14: Economic (personal/family the haves and have-nots of school) / Christmas Party
- January 11: Family
- February 15: Religion or Faith / Un-valentine Party
- March 8: Jobs and value that it gives to a person / Youth Mission
- April 12: Nationality – Being an American
- May 10: Summary or shift topics if one month is skipped during the year for some reason.
- June 14: End of year party
The discussions will be generated by assigned student leaders and will be developed around these three points:
- Truth being external
- Truth being directional
- Truth being Relational
