Mark your calendar for the following events:
- Christmas Ceili: Friday, December 5, at 7:00 p.m. bring your voice, your instruments, a dessert, and we’ll spend the evening playing and singing carols together at the Jorgensen home. (Due to the size of the venue and the presence of instruments, this will not be an event suitable for children.) Childcare will be provided on the church campus. If you are interested in attending please RSVP to Mark or Kathy Jorgensen (please let them know if you will be taking advantage of the childcare).
- Kidz Club Christmas Party: Wednesday, December 10 at the Fountains at Katy apartment complex. Even if you are not a regular volunteer with this ministry you are invited to help out at this fun event.
- Ladies’ Annual Cookie Swap: Ladies, you are invited to Evelyn Saugier’s home on Thursday, December 11 at 7:00 p.m. for the annual Cookie Swap. Look for more information via Evite. Or contact Evelyn (evelyn.saugier@earthlink.net) for more information and to RSVP.
- Parents’ Night Out: On Saturday, December 13 at 4:00 p.m., parents may drop off their 1st grade or younger children at Cornerstone and then spend a few hours Christmas shopping, wrapping gifts, or enjoying time with their spouse. Please send a dinner with them. We will feed them, do a craft or two, and munch on popcorn while we watch a movie. Children should be picked up at 8:00 p.m. Cost is free; however, registration is required. Please contact the church office by December 11th to register your kiddos. - Prayer Walk: Immediately following worship service on December 14 all the Cornerstone small groups will host prayer walks through all six zones of the Memorial Parkway subdivision. A light lunch will be provided prior to the walk. Please let your small group leader know if you plan to participate. If you are not part of a small group you are still invited and encouraged to participate. Childcare will be available for preschoolers and younger; however, we encourage you to bring them on the prayer walk in strollers.
- Caroling @ the Fountains at Katy Apartments: Thursday, December 18 at 6:00 p.m. All are invited to participate. Contact Ashley Soden (ashleynsoden@gmail.com) for more information.
- Christmas Eve Candlelight Service: Wednesday, December 24 at 6:00 p.m. Come worship our Emmanuel!
