Maundy Thursday

by Pastor on March 31, 2015

Please join us 7:30pm Thursday night for a contemplative service as we reflect upon Jesus’ last supper with his disciples and his crucifixion. This service helps put Jesus’ final days in perspective as we prepare to celebrate his resurrection on Easter Sunday where the death of death is on display.

Worship program for Maundy Thursday

“Maundy” comes from the latin word for command (mandatum), taken from John 13:34 where Jesus says, after washing the disciples’ feet, “a new command I give you, that you love one another.”

coming up

let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.Galatians 6:9–10
