Discipleship
Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. (Mt 16:24–25)
We’ve put together a discipleship track to help us grow to maturity as a body. This involves these four classes. Which is your next step?
Vision and Values
As you consider churches, the Vision and Values class helps you get to know Cornerstone. What makes us tick? Who are we? What do we believe? This class answers these questions so that you will know whether or not Cornerstone is the right fit for you. If it is, then this class helps to make sure we are all on the same page in terms of our mission and approach to working together toward that mission.
Discipleship
The next class is aimed at understanding what it means to be a disciple of Jesus. How do you grow in your faith? Why do we make such a big deal of community? Whether you’re a new believer or 20 years mature, this class is an important piece in helping us reach our mission.
Leadership
As you move along the discipleship path, you will inevitably find yourself leading in some capacity or another. This class is aimed to ground your theology, prepare you to mentor others, and equip you to be a servant of others.
Officer Training
This last course is designed for those who aspire to serve as an officer in the church. We’ll look specifically at the qualifications and duties of an officer and how those fit within the context of Cornerstone.
