Serve
And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ… (Eh 4:11-12)
Spiritual Gift Assessment
Every member is a minister. Our pastors and officers are called to “equip you for the work of ministry.” That means that every part of the body of Christ is necessary and unique in his/her role. We want to help you figure out what that role is by evaluating you on a variety of fronts that include your past experiences, talents, tendencies, and passions. It is an intense process that involves you and those that know you.
As members go through this process, the goal is to find them a place to serve that fits the way God has designed them and serves the mission of Christ.
As everyone finds their place to serve we want to match up spiritual gifts with particular needs in an area of particular passion. Our four core ministry (W.E.L.L.) teams help to direct that passion.
- Worship (everything related to Sunday worship, such as music, greeting, ushering, setup, clean-up, audio-visual coordination, etc.)
- Extending Grace (missionary oversight, local outreach, mission trip organization, church planting, etc.)
- Living in Community (fellowship event planning, small group coordination, meal ministry, etc.)
- Learning to Follow Jesus (teaching and training)
To get started, contact Carol Kutzer, 281-579-1080, in the church office who can set you up with one of our trained assessors.
