Welcome to Cornerstone giving.

There are different kinds of giving in the Bible. The tithe was a tenth of one’s income (for the Old Testament Israelite, this typically came from the harvest yielded from land God had given them). The tithe was a regularly recurring gift that provided for the general service of the temple. Offerings were ways to worship God, above and beyond the tithe, to express devotion and thanksgiving when moved in the spirit or when there were particular needs, such as Israel had at the building of the Tabernacle in Exodus 35. As such, offerings were occasion driven.

It is our desire to plant a new church in Katy and we’re calling it the “Katy Gospel Project.” A new church in Katy will serve two purposes:

  1. Building bridges with un-churched and de-churched people.
  2. Establishing a community dedicated to showing the world a new way of being human, under the Lordship of Christ.

To support this work, please add “Katy Gospel Project” in the “Add special instructions” area after designating your amount.
