When we get into a dark place, what brings us out? These commands in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 train us to see through the darkness to the light and hope of God.
Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. (1 Th 5:16–18)
