Home for the Homeless
A few Fridays ago we met a homeless man after our men’s prayer breakfast. He was sunburned, weary, and hungry. He had slept the night on the sidewalk in front of the Education building. All that remained of our breakfast was a half-eaten sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit. We offered it to him and he ate. I was suddenly struck how different that sandwich now looked as it went from undesirable to irresistable. All it needed was a proper perspective.
