Integrity (Ps 26)
What does your life look like? If you asked the people who knew you best to give an anonymous description of your character, what kind of picture would they paint? If you asked the grocery store clerk where you shop, the cleaning crew where you work, the teachers at your kid’s school (or your school), your boss or those who work for you to do the same thing, what kind of picture would they paint? Do you think they would paint the same picture you have of yourself?
When the psalmist speaks of integrity, he’s talking specifically about a life devoted to God as opposed to divided in its loyalties. It is a life on the outside that matches the life one professes on the inside.
