Psalm 24

This Psalm follows up God’s victory over the Philistines as David brings the ark of the covenant into Jerusalem. It is a triumphal entry of grand proportions and is marked with trumpets, tambourines. cymbals and the shouts of the people. As David leads the procession he dances before the Lord, demonstrating both his delight and humiliation.
