Psalm 23

When we think of Palm Sunday, we think of the triumphant way Jesus came into Jerusalem at the beginning of his final fateful week. Jesus is coming to bring victory, but the victory he brings comes through defeat. Before he can sit on his throne as King of Kings and Lord of Lords, he must pass through the valley of the shadow of death.
