The Son of God’s Promise
Resurrection is at the heart of the Christian’s faith. While that may be a familiar idea, it is easily misunderstood. Too many think of the resurrection as merely an event, or an abstract theological teaching. Many know the story of Jesus rising from the dead three days after his crucifixion and recognize him as God – maybe even as a result – but it remains merely a historical fact to be believed. The practicality of believing in the resurrection gets lost. This passage shows us why it is so important as we see a picture unfold of what it means to walk by faith.
