What is the Gospel?

Romans 1:16-17

In the passage we’re looking at today, Paul introduces the theme of the letter: the gospel. In the coming weeks and months, we’ll flesh out how it works. So, what is the gospel? Paul writes,

It is the power of God for salvation.
