Preparing for College

Former Rice University Admissions Officer to Lecture on Ways to Slash College Costs.

Workshop is free-but fills up quickly…

An extremely popular lecture is being held this month at the Cornerstone Evangelical Presbyterian Church for the parents of high school sophomores and juniors.

The workshop, which is being offered without cost to attendees, will focus on little known ways of getting grants and scholarships for college, regardless of GPA or how much money a family earns. The class will cover topics such as how to double or triple eligibility for scholarships (even if a family makes too much money to qualify for financial aid), the secret to attending a private college or university for less than the price of a state school and the single biggest mistake that 9 out of 10 parents make when trying to figure out how to fund their child’s college education.

This class is free and registration is required. Tickets are available on a “first-come, first-served” basis. Space is limited by the size of the room. The workshop is being held at the Cornerstone Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 1351 South Mason Road, Katy TX on Tuesday, January 24, 2017. We start at 7:00 p.m. and finish at 8:30. Kurt Goedecke, CHFC, is teaching the workshop. Mr. Goedecke is the former Assistant Director of Admissions at Rice University and a nationally recognized expert on college planning. Word to the wise – don’t wait to register. To reserve a seat go to www.CollegeMoneyforTexans.org
